Hats for Disneyland!

It’s no secret that we LOVE hats! We often get asked why we wear hats all the time, which we answered in our FAQ blog post awhile back, so if you’re dying to know (ha!), check out all the questions we answered in that blog post! Also, hats are just kinda the best! It makes getting ready for the day a lot easier when you can just throw a hat on.

Since we’re now known as the crazy Disney moms who wear hats everyday and go to Disneyland a lot, we thought we should probably share some of our favorite hats you can find at the parks, as well as our favorite everyday, non-Disney hats! During the Summer, the weather can get very warm, and somehow it is extra harsh at Disneyland (why is that?!), so we HIGHLY recommend you and your littles wear a hat if you’re visiting during warm season!

Where to Purchase the Hats Listed Below

Pretty much all of the hats below can be purchased at World of Disney in Downtown Disney, The Mad Hatter on Main Street, The Mad Hatter in Fantasyland, The Emporium on Main Street, Le Petit Chalet stand across from the Matterhorn in Fantasyland, Winner’s Circle next to Autopia in Tomorrowland, Pioneer Mercantile in Frontierland, The Briar Patch in Critter Country, The Gag Factory in Toontown, Los Feliz Five and Dime on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure and Sideshow Shirts on Paradise Pier in California Adventure and at all three Disney Hotel gift shops. You can also check the Disney Store online or Shop Disney Parks App for a lot of these hats and headbands!

We will specify if there is another location that you can buy any of these hats – a few of them are in stores that are NOT noted above.

Name Embroidery on Mickey Ears and Hats

Most Mickey ear hats with the chin strap and most baseball caps can be embroidered with a name! Just let the Cast Member at the checkout counter know that you’d like your hat to be embroidered. IMPORTANT – If you do want a name embroidered on your hat, we highly recommend doing so at the time of purchase. It’s a “health concern” to embroider hats/ears with no receipt to show date of purchase, so it’s best to just have it done when you buy the ears.

We prefer the classic cursive embroidery in black or gold for just $3.99, but you can upgrade to “premium” lettering (“Script” or “Fun” fonts) for $7.99 – the premium fonts come in a number of colors.

You can never go wrong with a pair of classic Mickey ears for your kiddos! We had these growing up, so it’s fun to see our kids frolic around the parks in their cute little ears! These ears come in black, red, blue and pink  for kids, and black and blue for adults.

We love this Goofy hat for the littles! You can also get Donald or Pluto! These hats look super cute with a name embroidered across the back.
